Regardless, the quest has no reward, and Lorrac and co will then attack you.
Rattus will disappear after you do the job. You're on your own, chumps.
After doing his "job" he will no longer be found on the road to Trynton, and although he said he was going there, he does not appear anywhere in Trynton ground, Upper Branches, or the Rattkin Tree, AT ALL. As stated elsewhere in this thread, this was a quest that was never finished, and also has no reward whatsover, unless you count a gun with the strangest requirement of any weapon, 30 dexterity, which is lower than Mooks and Dwarves start with when you create one. The gun is worse than the basic Musket you can get elsewhere, and equipable by the same races and classes. Only difference is a KnockOut chance instead of Instant Kill.
He also isn't needed if you want to talk to the other Rattkin in Trynton, so, unless you actually kill him, On purpose, the others will still be friendly when you get to them.
Also note that Lorrac and the Bank Guards are seperate from the Arnika citizens (He-Li, Braffit, Anna, HLL patrols) so it you did the bank robbery, if any patrols are outside when you make your escape, they will assist your getaway.
