Support for Wizardry® games

Q: Are the patches for Wizardry still available?
A: You can get patches for W6, W7, the Wizardry 7 pentium fix, and for Wizardry Gold at http://www.gamesdomain.co.uk/patches/w.html.

    Ultimate Wizardry Archives

• Q: Are the earlier Wizardrys still available?
  A: Yes. Interplay has released the Ultimate Wizardry Archives which includes Wizardry 1-7 and Wizardry Gold.  The included version of Wizardry Gold is not the "latest and greatest", so be sure and download the patched version.

• Q: Can I run the games from the Archives without Windows 95/98?
  A: Yes you can play all the games in the Archives on an older computer, you just can't use the install program that comes with the CD-ROM. But don't worry none of the files are compressed and you can just copy them to your hard drive. After copying the files to your hard drive go to the savegame files (on your hard drive) and using the properties option in Win 3.1 uncheck the READ ONLY box, otherwise the games won't work right. You have to do this for each game.
