"FireFox cache issue"
I took the fix (posted on DCForums) ver batim ... it looks like it had a bug as well, in trying to detect Mozilla/FireFox ... looking for "Navigator" as the browser appname, when in fact it is "Netscape" for both Netscape and FireFox (I guess all Mozilla-based browsers).

Let me know if this new change fixed it for you. If not, let me know which version of FireFox you are on (and maybe what operating system).

Half-works now. For the first time I can login with FireFox, but trying to reply seems to log me out. I get to the page that lets you reply, my Name is in the Name field (vs a non-logged-in having a blank field to enter a guest name). But when I hit the < Post Message > button, it goes to the login screen instead...

PS. I'm also getting a line 32 character 55 Syntax Error on this page.

I took another look at the code that I changed and noticed it was a different syntax than I am used to seeing (used angle brackets for subscript reference of document.forms, rather than typical square brackets). That looks like it would be line 32, but not really near character 55 ...

So, I changed that ... let me know if that has any effect. Thanks!

No more error, but the problem maintains. I can now login, but not actually post (logs me out when I hit the < Post Message > it seems)

not sure if this would help - but does it work if you use FF and use the IE tab?

Always remember the Tleilaxu Epigram:
Here lies a toppled god
his fall was but a small one
we did but build his pedestal
a narrow and a tall one.

7. "Great!"
Thanks for your perseverance ... my bag of magic tricks was empty on this one (since I was unable to duplicate the problem).
