"Doubt concerning changing professions"
Hello everybody.

Perhaps my question is already answered somewhere in the older topics, but today I'm feeling too lazy to perform a search.

Suppose I have an alchemist, which I choose to change for a priest. The alch has around 40 points in alchemy. After I change profession, will I still be able to cast alchemy spells as a priest? Will I be able to learn new alchemy spells as a priest?

He will be able to cast alchemy spells as a preist and add points to alchemy. He wont be able to learn alchemy new spells on level ups. But nothing prevents you from class-changing him more than one time.

Be aware of one thing: the former Alchemist will only be able to cast any spells according to his actual level. This means that as long as your new priest is level one, he only has access to power lvl 1, with level 2 to power lvl 2 (for class 1 spells (Heal Wounds etc.), class 2 or more difficult still with power lvl 1 (Blinding flash etc.)) etc.
Note that your class-changed character will only gain few skill- and one hitpoint per level-up, until he reaches a level that exceeds that of the alchemist. From then on, the level-ups will be standard.
