"What increases hands and feet damage amount?"
My party consists of a ninja and a monk. At first my ninja used hands and feet, with 2d2 (2-4) damage. After they reached 100 skill in hands and feet, I gave the ninja a katana + wakizashi, so she would do more damage (1-7 and 1-6, respectively). After a few levels, I took off the katana and the wakazashi, and noticed her hands and feet damage had increased at some point to 2d8 (2-16). Pretty flippin' good.

So, I decided I might try and double up that action with my monk, since that kind of damage, especially when doubled by hiding, is way more than any other of my characters can pull off at this point (just finished the hazardous area). My monk had been in the back row with his Bo. I moved him to the front row to use hands and feet, which is at 2d2 (2-4) damage. He's level 9 at this point. So, I went to the belfry, and had him rip up some bats by himself to 100 hands and feet skill. He's still at 2-4 damage.

Does anyone know what increases the hands and feet damage? It's not strength, because my monk has higher strength than my ninja. Is it speed or dexterity? My ninja has something like 14 or 15 dexterity and my monk has just 12, but I wouldn't think 2-3 points in those stats would have such a drastic change in damage. The monk is a little lacking in Vitality (just 11 right now), but I don't think that would effect hands and feet damage. Any idea why my ninja's hands became hands of fury seemingly suddenly?

Very interesting...

So I put my monk in the front row and used hands and feet and just dealt with the 2-4 damage for a while just because he was getting in a bunch of attacks with some decent kia %.

And, just a suddenly as my ninja, my monk's hands and feet damage jumped to 2d8 (2-16). His hands and feet skill was already 100 and he did NOT gain a level, he's still level 9 since my first post. So, the damage is not predicated on his stats, nor his hands and feet skill, and not contingent on a level up. His kill statistic is only 564, so it didn't seem to pass any important threshold.

I honestly have no idea what it is that caused the increase.

Heh, another oddity increase: So my monk's damage has now increased to 2d8+1 (3-17), and my ninja is still 2d8 (2-16)

My ninja has superior stats in everything except for speed, they are the same level, and my ninja has way more kills.

I have no idea what's driving hands and feet damage.
