"Where's the fight?"
I have gone through the temple about 30 times now, and I can't seem to get any major devils to fight me. (except when Xorphitus attacks, but that victory always seems to yield the same treasure.) I would like to get excaliber and diamond eyes. Where is the best place to look for a fight with really tough foes?

I havw found that running around the temple yields pretty good fights(running on expert). The best fights IMO are found running around the enchanted forest wraith's are the hardest to beat when there are two groups of 4(and somtimes they come with a big lizard pet).

BE PATIENT If you are not then you will not find what you are looking for. Rest a lot, those big guys like to sneak up on sleeping parties. Priests of ram will create the bigdogs your looking for so try not to kill them so quick.

Doc--

You'll be able to fight Demons in the last 2 rooms you come to when going thru the temple. Just save right before the room (twirling around on the ledge outside the room seems to yield the same caliber of enemies, if you prefer). To make things faster (especially since you're probably high enough level to hack & slash thru everything) just turn off all sound and delays, and just hold down ENTER during every encounter to have everyone fight every round. Doing this let me whip through most encounters in under 1 minute so I could quit/nosave and go back again. Good Luck.

It seems the demons are much rarer than the other enemies in the temple (even tho Mad God's editor suggests otherwise...)

I've had better luck if I turn left at the 2nd gate rather than right (I usually go right to get the Ankh of Wonder).
