"another savegame problem HELP!"
Hello,

I copied savegame.dbs from my bane folder to c:\ under dosbox because I wanted to preserve my old savegame before I change classes. The copied file never turned up on c:\ and now my savegame.dbs has 0 Kbytes in the bane folder and the savegame won't load in bane. What happened here and how do I get my savegame back?

Thanks for any help!

Sir Thomas

No telling, since we weren't there You may be able to find where it copied to, by searching your C: drive.

Get to a DOS prompt (like the windows start button-> run -> command) then type :

cd \
dir savegame.dbs /s

That will search all sub-directories for that file ...

I realize this might be a bit late, but others may run into this problem. But your C drive in dos box is whatever you mounted as the C drive. In my case, I have C:\dos mounted as the C drive. So all folders, ect. that are listed under C: in dos box are under C:\dos\ in windows.
