I decided rather than adding to the already extremely long list of posts under the item list subject, I'd start a new one to ask this . . .Does anyone have the exact 8 byte code for these items, and any others not on the list?
(I actually probably *have* them somewhere in my boxed stuff, I believe they were all written in my clue book, next to the appropriate item--my brother and I spent around a month mapping all items, pics, and figuring out what every part of the item codes did; but this was a few years back, and I can't remember half of what we figured...on a side note though, it only took me around 20 to 30 minutes to re-figure how cc is stored in the .dbs files, and I felt like kicking myself for not remember THAT little quirky number)
Anyway, that was a rather large aside, wasn't it?
What I really wish is that I could find my original savegame.dbs...my chars on that were gods.
Oh, and as a second aside, I did find a cuckoo's call legitimately at one point...but then again, I played the game around five hours a day just walking around looking for stuff that was listed in the clue book. For the life of me I can't remember *where* I found it...but I distinctly remember that I *did* find it, because I remember thinking that it was even more rare than excalibur or the z-bo(of which I found several in the time I played, as well as a random cane corpus or two I believe).
Anyway, maybe I'll hunt around and see if I can find my savegame...otherwise I hope I can find all these items again.
