cwcrosby (17 posts) Apr-14-01, 00:51 AM (Pacific) "Old problem from first time I played" LAST EDITED ON Apr-14-01 AT 01:35 AM (Pacific) The first time I played Bane, I kept playing and playing for quite some time, even after winning...and eventually I seem to remember you just can't play any more because if you get in a fight you can't use your points and you also can't close the screen down so you get stuck. er, that was one heck of a run-on, but I'm too tired to really care, <grin> Anyway, so did they ever end up fixing that problem? I seem to remember something about it, but not for sure (I think it happened to my lvl ~75 valkyrie--totally legit char too) This won't matter a whole lot if I can't get the game working(see post "Error"), but had to ask. cwc (oh, on a side note, it actually won't effect me too bad, I'm just curious if they may have made my life easier-cheating is too easy these days, but still time-consuming--even when it's cheating to REMOVE values that you don't want, hehe)   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"They fixed it in CODS but not in Bane" There is a 100 point skills patch for CODS which fixes this problem in CODS, but I have never heard of a similar patch for Bane. The only solution of which I'm aware is the one you suggest: using a program that allows you to edit the savegame file to reduce the skill points so you can accomodate another level up.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
