Hello, everybody,

I have three questions:

1) How can I disarm chests i Wiz 6? Or, better to say, how should
I treat the "inspect" information? What do all these green/red
letters and red stars mean? Untill now, all I can do is to guess
the trap to disarm, without any help from "ispect".

I do not have a manual at the moment, so please do not refer
me to it. I know how to disarm/inspect in Wizardry 7,
but the system in Wiz6 seems to be completely different.

2) Where should I use the second Key of spades (I used the first
one to get into the room with zombies and chrome keys)?

3) Could somebody please supply me the comparative
characteristics data for swing/thrust/melee/bash/lash/etc. blows?

Hi!

How to unlock chests:
First let every character inspect the trap. Now you've got for example a red "o", a red "w", a red "s" and a green "p". Let's assume the correct trap is "Poison Needle". Every red letter you get is a *possible* part of the trap's name, in our case "o" and "s" are correct guesses. Green letters are sure guesses. You get stars if your dumb fighter thought there would be an "q", but your clever ranger found out there's no "q" at all. The "q" will be overwritten by a star.
After everyone has inspected the trap, it's your turn to guess which trap's name can be built by the remaining letters. The better the skulduggery skill is developed, the better results you'll get by a single character. Exclude all traps that haven't the green letters in their names. The rest is - luck.

If you haven't found the correct door yet, there's no need to use the second spade key
Hint - you'll need it quite a bit later in the game.
