"passwords"
Just dusted off my old Amiga 3000 and found that Bane was still on the hard drive. Then I was greeted by the dreaded password screen. That book has probably decomposed by now.

Is there any way to get a hold of the symbols list and passwords ???

thanks for any help

brian

(from someone in a similar situation ...)

But searching the forum I can't find it. I know the UWA version no longer requires it, but that is probably of no help to ya.

I seem to recall a program called "neverlock" or something to that effect. The executable was called Neverk at any rate. It took off password features and the like on much older games - and I believe it was shareware. Maybe you can find a copy?

It had one of those, "only do this with games you bought" disclaimers, which I always though of as, "steal, but don't tell us." Similar to the Napster defense I guess.

At some point I got tired of doing the passwords with bane and used it though.

Hope that's helpful..

Yes, I could have sworn this was asked before too.
But upon searching, could not find any similar posts.

I will look for that shareware but I think I found something similar before and it only worked on a PC.

Thanks for the help.

Give me some time and I'll get them in PDF format. Then e-mail them to you.

I've got the same problem. I have a new copy of Wizardry Archives which I picked up some 6 months ago at Best Buy. I've read the .pdf on the cd and there was no other material in the box but the cd-rom (except the usual adverts). There is no password keys on anything but the "Bane" game. I have asked around elsewhere, and so far no response. I had an original "Bane" on an apple, which is long gone and the software with it.

If you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

7. "UWA Bane"
The UWA version of Bane doesn't really require a password, as played right off the CD. They removed that annoyance for it, though if you have applied any patches that has been changed.
