"Neverwinter Nights"
Hi there,

about a year ago we had a lengthy discussion about games or projects that come near a "true" Fantasy world, where people can act freely, without being too story-bound etc. Maybe even a "real" Pen&Paper RPG - a program that can respond to all the stupid things that the adventurers do...
Well, as far as I remember, two candidates were mentioned: Morrowind and Neverwinter Nights. Has anybody already played Neverwinter Nights? It still sounds amazing and all tests I've read so far are very enthusiastic. Especially the DM-Mode seems to be quite a powerful tool. Any thoughts?

Greetings
Kuli

NWN didn't officially arrive in stores until two days ago. At $55 it's bucking the 49.95 standard game price line. I'm not convinced enough to spring that much money. The big selling part for the easily swayed big spenders is that it's part of an online system.

Morrowind is a top- notch gem of a game, though.
