"Enchanting items"
I have a question about enchanting items. First, has anyone done it? Second, it seems to me that if you enchant an item it is only giving that item certain spells to cast. So you can't enchant a weapon to do greater damage than it is supposed to. For instance, take a normal war axe. Enchant it with sun spells and now it can cast burn, but it does not inflict fire damage to your opponent as well. That is how I understand it, but since I have yet to do it, I don't really know. Can someone clarify this more? It would be cool to enchant normal items to do "Cane of Corpus" type damage.

(well, at least her pix )
Maybe what you want is "bless", rather enchant. I have not done either yet, but the "bless" spell seems more like what you are looking for and it can be done on weapons and armor.

I haven't done it but I have read some posts on it.

There are some spells like the artifact spells and what not that do increase the weapons/armour. The bless skill will allow you to create a Axe +1 and I think the stone artfact increases the dmg. I did see a post (think on the rpg vault board) that someone increase the dmg of a weapon with enchant by 1 so it was like 4-10 +1 so 5-11 not positive. Not high enough in either guild to get bless or enchant yet.

Thank you...{bows to adoring MALE fans)!! LOL

I must add some new pics to my repertoire, sometime this week. I have upgraded my Blade Pro. Been thinking about getting a new Paint Shop Pro, but just bought 6...but 7 does look fun. Hmmm...

so far i have stone/sun/vine/bless enchant spells. the best so far has been bless since the enchant last inifinte. so far, stone sun and vine enchants are charged spells, 1 at a time it seems...which seems wasteful since one charm of a lvl 3 spell is like i think arnd 500 gold, which is pretty expensive . . . however the +1 per bless seems much better. . . i've already enchanted a few katana's to +3 hit!!! it seems to make a big diff...

oops i cut off last part. . .

anyway, my advice i guess is to take a priest early to level 7 spirit spells, (train in guild and raise in leveling) then devote next skill raises to enchant skill . ..

etc
