"WIZ 1 identifying treasure"
I haven't played Wizardry since I was a child. I purchased Archives to get me ready for Wiz 8. My archives CD didn't come with directions so I am geting everything off the net. My question is, who can identify unknown treasure? I thought a priest could do it, but when I hit 'I' nothing happens.
TIA

1. "Starts with a 'B'"
I think you have two choices: Boltac or a Bishop.

Boltac's more reliable, Bishops can possibly accidentally be cursed to wear it, and you need Boltac to uncurse items, which costs a lot more than to ID an item

BTW there is a manual included in the UWA. It's stored in the manuals directory of your CD-Rom. Unfortunately they didn't put seperate manuals for each game, but one big file with all the manuals of all the games.

4. "I got a manual"
I bought the archives too...and I got a big black manual that encompassed all seven games. Did they take that out for later versions of the CD??

5. "Paper is not Cost effective"
I think they dropped the paper version, as it was not a big seller - costs a lot of money to ship paper manuals (compared to bits).
