":-(" Well, after the install finally completed, I decided to stay home and give Wizardy Online a try instead of going to play poker ... one huge problem to start: when I launch it, it fails to play some movie, then turns my entire display upside down. Once I exit the game it is back to normal though ... Not an auspicious beginning ... and I suspect since everyting was lagging, that my laptop is not quite up to the minimum requirements for the game ... So, the issue (per their support staff, after I sent them all of my diagnostic files) was that my laptop has old (non-supported) video drivers (circa 2009). They recommended I update them. Turns out, they are as up-to-date as I can get for my PC, running XP Pro. So, I played it upside down long enough to finally get to the options screen and (like others I found with the same issue), turned off full screen mode and play it in a window.
