"Amazalu Queen"
Hmmm... I killed her & now I vaguely remember that there was something useful to be done. Unfortunately, I don't have a save. Is there something to be done with the bauble and trinkets, or by saying something to her? IIRC there are a couple of nice weapons that can be got by saying things to particular NPCs.

1. "She'll be insulted"
if you give her the baubles and trinkets as a gift, and you have to give her 3000 GP to make her happy again. All you have to do with the Amazulu Queen is give her something worthless, and she will say to her voodoo priestess "See? So they have soft bellies after all..." or something like that (never grasped the meaning of that, though) and won't attack you. After giving the Queen an item, you get the chance to speak with Kuwali Kubona and are able to trade with her. You might consider buying a Foot Powder from her to avoid being hurt by going on the lava path to Mau-Mu-Mu. So I wouldn't (and haven't kill her, the Spear of Death isn't worth the trouble.

You can still trade with the K.K. after killing her. But if you say 'Rumor' to the K.K., she talks about the Queen... I don't know whether that's useful.

Actualy I gave her the bauble and trinkets, apologized, but didn't pay her the money. When she attacked she was alone, of course I was playing on easy mode. So I think that the use of the baubles and trinkets is to get rid of the queen, but not the other medicine lady.

4. "How did she survive?"
Before I found out that I didn't have to fight this battle, I killed the Amazulu Queen and her companion-fighters, one of which was Kuwali Kubona. Did she run away in your fight?

Can't remember... sorry. Possibly I'd set it on easy and she didn't appear. That happens with Mai-Lai... sometimes Bork? turns up to help her and sometimes not. In any case, I think you can Levitate instead of using Foot Powder.

I didn't kill the Queen on first meeting her -- that may have something to do with it.

6. "Other than killing an innocent NPC"
there's not much to repent, then. At least I don't know any clues what else to do with her ;)
