"Altheides won't appear"

Guest (110 posts) Dec-12-05, 09:23 AM (Pacific) "Altheides won't appear" Thought I'd do game one last time, this is about the 12th time. I enter the last temple to put the final of the three the Chaos Moline in its slot; the message appears about feeling odd etc,,,. then usally after that Altheides appears, but he is a no show, and the final door can't be opened without him. I put the last two objects in at temple 1 and temple 2 without a problem. I camped several times to see what happens, but get message about feeling odd, and No Altheides. What happen? Also, the only save I have is right after I won the fight at the third temple, so using an earlier save is out of the question. Thanks for any help. I was giving each character the item to see what remark they would make, and kept the fake one by mistake. Went all the back to get it, than return and Altheides appeared.
