For Thanksgiving week, I loaded a 2nd version of Wiz 8 in a separate directory, then added Deathstalkers 2.1 mod, the one he toned down from his 1.0 mod. GREAT FLYING GUMDROPS !!! THATS TONED DOWN ??? The weapons are better (read their stats carefully, many have negative bonuses), there are two RPC's on the lower Monastery level. I love Summon Monster. Much better than elementals. Brds and Gadgeteers are well supplied. Arnika is Tough. Do not enter Mt Gigas fort level unless you are level 10 or you are prepared to stealth your way to Pvt Panrack. It is possible to get out of the fort, but it took me 20+ rounds of combat INSIDE the fort, with Umpani and Higardi help, to get the door unblocked. I will venture onto A-T Road tonight. And the college requirement of 10 hours sleep each night ). When I have had spare time, its gone to Magic the Gathering, Diablo, and a few other games. Besides, Wizardry is a 7 month itch for me. I haven't used mods myself either, probably because I feel it would destroy the magic of the game, which I believe was created by enchanted entities and put in nice black official boxes.
