smb (Guest) (0 posts) Jan-28-05, 01:50 PM (Pacific) "Al-Sedexus curse -- curious" L26 male faerie ninja had the usual encounter with Al-Sedexus, then teleported out of Rapax Castle to disarm the Savant's bomb. Every other time I've played, the sacrifice has been almost immediately enthralled upon leaving Rapax Castle. But not this time. Why not? And I haven't been back to the Castle since teleporting out, so she is still alive and well. I did kill A-S before becoming a Templar, so I could kill her again after. But in an earlier game, I also killed her before becoming a Templar, and the sacrifice still became enthralled, so it's not that. And if I recall correctly, all my other sacrifices have become enthralled after about 5 minutes out of the Castle, even in the Savant Tower. "Actually" Since my third game, i've ALWAYS killed Al-S before becoming Templars, and in over 60 games, i have NEVER been enthralled, regardless of killing her again.
