lord kicek (0 posts) Sep-14-04, 07:05 AM (Pacific) "Why I always become mad???" I'm playing solo faerie ninja, wearing the special helm (from trynton). My character has 100 points of mind resistance and after I'm collecting destinae dominus...i always get mad. Even long sleep doesn't work. Llevram (5413 posts) Sep-14-04, 09:03 AM (Pacific) 1. "Helm of Serenity" If you are wearing it, and have the DD in the personal inventory .. you should not go mad. If so, it sounds like a bug. If that is the case, I would try placing the DD where it goes and hope that you return to sanity. Tools for Wizardry(r) 7   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"Madness Avoided" You won't go mad at all if you STAY in conversation mode with MM and hit the Trade button so you can look in your inventory and place the DD in one of your personal slots. (as long as you have the helm on and your game isn't corrupt) Sometimes i play through without getting the helm. I Set a Portal at the DD depository and portal myself back as soon as i have the DD. If you can't Sane Mind or Restore (potion works) the insanity lasts really long.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
