"All I want is a light crossbow!!"

Del (Guest) (3 posts) Aug-02-04, 10:44 AM (Pacific) "All I want is a light crossbow!!" I'm getting really frustrated with the game. All I want is a couple of light crossbows so I can make double and triple shot crossbows for my characters but I can't find them anywhere. I've been through most areas of the game and so far I've only found 2 light crossbows. A friend of mine is playing at the same time and he's able to buy them in Arnika all the time. Are there any good places to get a light crossbow? (I don't have a thief in my party). Can I use a hex editor to add them into the game? I've looked online for the hex codes and the only information I can find is how to make my characters better or add more gold which I'm not interested in doing. To make sure she has one: - Make sure it's been at least 24 game hours since you've last spoken with her. Rest if necessary to achieve this. - Save a game in front of her before speaking to her. - Talk to Anna, and see if she has a Light Crossbow. - If she doesn't, reload and try again. I've even bought her whole store out so when she restocked I'd have a better chance. I'll check with Kunar and Sadok again, but I don't remember seeing them there either. rbrown (2 posts) Aug-02-04, 11:02 AM (Pacific) 2. "RE: All I want is a light crossbow!!" The Rattkin on the 6th bough sometimes drop doubleshot crossbows. Maybe they drop lights, I've never really paid attention. The doubleshot takes too much stamina and ammo, I prefer to use more accurate bows. I'm certain that they appear in chests.
