Two there always are--Never more, never less!
I have crossed over fully to the dark side and am now both master and apprentice...Darthzaph
Clouded your future is indeed
You will become a Jedi young Skywalker
I now play with the 100 skills patch and without it
I have my cake and eat it too
How can anything exist in two states simultaiously you might ask?
It's quite simple and no degeneration has yet been observed in the lab! No quarky lockups or game crashes--no more worrying about skills points maxing out
Without getting into a thesis on Quantum Wizardrics I'll outline a simple way to keep it organized:
In windows explorer, open Wizgold file folder.
Click on File,New,Folder, name the file Patches(ironically the name of my mothers cat)
Open the folder Patches; click on file, new, folder, and name this folder un-patched.
again click on file, new, folder, and name this folder patched
next go back to the Wizgold folder and right click on Wizard.exe then copy.
open the patches folder, then the unpatched folder , then right click and paste
next go to where your Patch of Wizard.exe is and right click and copy that Wizard.exe
go to your "Patched" folder and paste this wizard exe.
Finally, to install either the patched or unpatched Wizard.exe:
1)make sure Wizardry is not running
2)go to the Wizgold folder and delete(yes delete) the Wizard.exe you wish to switch out
3)go to the patches folder and copy the Wizard.exe to wish to switch in
4) go back to Wizgold folder and paste in the desired Wizard.exe
5) just run Wizardy and enjoy
Now you can switch between the dark and the light(sword) side
It's accually easier done than said
I will probably play the patched version from now on 'till I need to fill my "Mystery" coffers at my own leisure--never to worry again about maxing out my skills
May the Force be with you!
