FC (Guest) (8 posts) May-04-04, 09:54 AM (Pacific) "Mook Ranger to Fighter" I would like to change my Mook Ranger at level 18, to a Fighter. (to take advantage of the Giant Sword) Would I lose the eagle eye and instant kill with the bow that the Ranger has, if I change? Thanks all   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

rbrown (2 posts) May-04-04, 10:43 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Mook Ranger to Fighter" Yes. But if the Eagle Eye is a 100-point skill bonus, he can still add on to that. But if you arm him with the Hunters Bow he will still get criticals. Not as many, but some. I'm pretty sure the Hunters Bow (available at your loca Sea Caves Discount Mart) can be used by a fighter.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

With the extended range of the Giant's sword you can place him/her in the center spot. Protected from melee but be able to hit any mob that comes into melee range from any direction.
