smb8d (4 posts) Jul-26-08, 11:42 AM (Pacific) "Various Keys" So, I think this is what various keys open, but I'm still having some problems: 1) Spade Keys. One opens the Spade Tower. Don't know about the other one yet. 2) Chrome Keys. They open the royal rooms on Level 2. But there is one door up there (south of the King's Room) that they don't open, and I jammed the lock. Should I try an Iron or a Copper Key? 3) Iron Keys. Anything on Level 1, but also at least one door in Basement 1 (the door into the Jailor's Key room). 4) Copper Keys. Basement Level 1 (except aforementioned door). 5) Jailor's Key. Don't know yet. 6) Gold Key. Don't know yet. Does anyone have more information, especially on 1-4? "RE: Various Keys" 1) You should find similar stairs on the other side of the castle, but you'll need first use a key which you'll find later. 2) I finally found the official guide, and it says that all locked doors on this level can be opened by normal means, spare one, leading to the Queen's boudoir. That can be avoided by accessing the room through the Queen's main chamber. (And this door should be on the W side of the castle.) 5) JAILor's key... 6) Go below the basement (Queequeg etc.) level!   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

smb8d (4 posts) Jul-27-08, 06:10 AM (Pacific) 2. "RE: Various Keys" 2) It's not the boudoir door (I found that one), it's the parlor/sitting room. A Copper Key will open it.
