There was some talk about adding the sign in the Table of Contents, when viewing threads.
This can't be done, since that whole page (the "View All" page, that includes the original post, the TOC and all messages in the thread) is not built for each user that views it (as the board listings are, which include the next to each new message). That page is only built when a new post is added to a thread.So, an alternative way to view new messages (Jeez, how many are there is to click on the Read New Messages, then instead of clicking on the new messages, shift+click on the Board they are in (i.e. Wiz 7) and that view will have each individual message marked as new (to you). Or you can do pretty much the saem thing from the Lobby, by shift+clicking on any board that has new messages. And if you use the Sort by Last Update, all the threads should be at the top.
p.s. Shift click is suppsed to be the faster version of Right Click, Open in New window ... I just read it in a magazine today. But, I guess it must be a MS IE thing, it doesn't seem to work for me with Netscape (V4.7)
