"Help this pitiful newbie"
Oh boy, I'm not good at this game... Could I get some general tips on party construction? I've been using two Warriors (one the Samurai, one to Ranger), 1 Priest (to Paladin), 1 Wizard (to Warlock), and 2 Rogues (one to Bard, one to Ninja). I may not bother with the Bard, as it seems mostly useless.

I've got two major questions: first, how the heckers do you raise enough money to get people into the Guilds in Valeria; and two, how in the name of all that's holy do you give the potion to Mekdawa??? He never accepts it!

Thanks,

-jls

Money:

You can go on some micro quests and earn some cash and kill everything that moves and sell their items. Basically scrimp and save for quite a few levels until you get enough cash to get ONE PC in a Guild and then start over again or.............cheat.

Not too sure about the potion. I never gave it to him and I'm not too sure I ever had it. Sounds like a micro quest.

Party Construction:

This I did not give much thought too. I picked three fighters (Lizard Man, ?Warthog? and Felpurr) and three spell casters (?Elf? Fairy and an Omphaz or whatever). I'm about half way through the game and I had decided not to change class with my PC's. I don't see the point. I have not "yet" found the need for a lockpicker or a musician. If I play the game again, I'm going to try it with all spellcasters. That is if they can wear the Dragon Armor.

2. "Giving the potion"
I had real trouble with this one (had to reload a couple times). What I was missing was the finer point of the interface ... not having selected "give", I still had "use" selected. So, I was using the potion on him, which breaks the quest, since you can't get another potion, unless perhaps another member joins the guild and takes on the quest as well.
