"Can't exit level-up screen after maxing out all skills..."
Did not see this problem raised in the posts during the past year...

One of my characters had all her skills at 100. When she gained another level, the game did not let me out of the level-up screen without using up those bonus Skill Points. Since I could not add them to any Skills anymore, I was stuck in that screen until I rebooted...

I'm running a cracked version under Win 98 DOS reboot. So far the game has been running smoothly until this happened.

Somehow I remember when I played it with a legal 5.25" floppy copy in 1991, I could still add Skill Points to a 100 Skill (when all my Skills were 100). That Skill still remained 100, but I could use up the Points and continue playing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. One solution I guess is to use an Editor to "dump down" her unused Weapon Skills so I could use up those Points, but that's unfair to her...

So it's called a "100 Skill Points Bug". Finally found the answer in a post back in April, 2001: http://www.softwarespecialties.com/dcforum/DCForumID5/79.html#

What I remembered (can still add points to a 100 skill) must be for the patched version of Wiz 7. As for Wiz 6, I'll use an editor to drop some skills from 100 to 1. Sorry for wasting the bandwidth. Please consider this redundant topic closed.
