"Another Adventure"
LAST EDITED ON Aug-03-06 AT 07:34 PM (Pacific)

So a while back I had to move out of Seattle and back to Eastern WA - when I finally moved back I had to leave most of my stuff behind in storage.

I did, however, bring my computer and disk 3 of my wiz8 cd's so I could continue to play Wiz8.

Not too long ago I finally was able to go back to E. WA and bring over the rest of my stuff, but between full time work, full time school, and full time gf, I have not had much of a chance to unpack everything and get everything set up.

In the meantime I really wanted to get a laptop for school and general mobile computing. So I gave my PC to my gf.

Now I've had my laptop for a while and Im getting the itch to play W8 again - which means I now have to install it. No problem - only between all the moves I cant find my W8 disk 3.

Now I do have another option - when W8 came out I actually bought TWO copies for myself. One is a pristine, original box, that has never been opened. I'm sure I have that disk 3 around somewhere but now the dilemma - wait to find it or open my pristine copy of W8... hmmm

Now why on earth did you buy a copy of Wiz 8 and NEVER used it?

Go open it and put the game on the laptop...or clean thy room and look for the disk that may or may not be there.

I figured it would be like a "collectors edition" kind of thing..

Sure, keeping a coin or other thing of only aesthetic value as a collector's item I get ... toys, games, Wizardry ... nope, I don't get it.

I guess in those cases, the people care more for the dollar value than the enjoyment value ... though in your case, having one in play and one for collection, you get the best of both worlds ...
