"Once again into the fray..."
LAST EDITED ON Jun-17-06 AT 11:36 PM (Pacific)

Decided to reload Wizardry 8 on my laptop...and try this game yet again.

Made it out of the Monestary...went to Arnika...accidentally sold my Holy Water, but bought some in Trynton. I know I can only get so far...and cannot complete Ratkins Tree. So I am headed back out of Trynton to Arnika to see my ill gotten gains.

Where to after that? The Northern Wilderness...the graveyard??

Yeah I usually do the graveyard (and the dungeon there) then Trynton, then the Swamp. You might want to take on the Northern Wilderness first if you like, there are some sweet items there too.

I am starting anew as well. So far ive done the monastary, scoured arnika, joined the umpani(must love muskets and blunderbusses), and am currently in the graveyard.

Party is 11 lord 11 val 11 sam 10 nin 10 bishop(preist focus) 10 bishop (mage focus) w/ RPC Vi and Saxx both of them just barely 11

This is the first time im doing ALL the extra dungeons ive already hit and COMPLETELY explored retro 2 (that took forever).

Got a lord, rogue, ranger, bard, gadgeteer, bishop, with Vi and Rfs. Range-focused (gadgeteer making tripleshot bows for everyone who can use) - awesome, can chew up enemies from a distance, but they eat through ammo like it's going out of style. Even all the cheap crap I find on the ground gets used up, lol.

Okay...after a full weekend playing Wiz 8.

My party finally got finished with that BLASTED graveyard dungeon. Damn...that was a toughie! It doesn't map too well...so I had to search for a map online, because I was stuck in there going round in circles. Opened everthing except for the door with the 8 tumblers...will come back later when I have the skill.

Finished Trynton (for now) and wiped out the Rattus Breeders. Dumped Myles...in favor of Madras the Gadgeteer. So I am guessing the swamp is next...out of the path that leads from the back of Trynton tree?? Or maybe I should head to Mt. Gigas??

Any ideas or comments would help. I have a party that consists of level 11/12's. Human Fighter, Dracon Fighter, Human Valkrie, Elven Priestess, Felpurr Rogue, Faerie Mage. Then I have Vi Domina and Madras the Trynnie.

Blessed Be~

Dropping by Mount Gigas may be useful if you want some quests out of the way. The second dungeon is also en route. The swamp will be full of annoying fights, but your party is pretty melee heavy, close in and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Personally I'd tour the swamp to get the map done and pick up some stuff then head back north to Mt Gigas.
