LAST EDITED ON Dec-21-04 AT 03:00 PM (Pacific)No, this is not a post for yet another new version of Mad God's superlative editor. I just thought that (a) the thread for comments in the CODS forum is overloaded, and (b) Bane has some different issues, so it might make sense to start a new thread specifically for questions, comments, bug reports, etc., regarding the application of MG's Cosmic Forge to Bane.
EDIT: While we're at it, how about a link to Mad God's site, where the Forge can be downloaded:

I will start with a couple of my own:
1. In Bane, unlike CODS, certain game-essential items are "undroppable." This applies even after a party no longer has any use for the item. The classic example of this is a very heavy rope&hook, which are needed to cross a chasm; later in the game, the party may open a secret passage that allows them to bypass the chasm. It would be nice, at that point, if they could then drop the rope, but they can't. Looking at the item editor, it does not have a check for this "undroppable" condition. I would suggest adding it.
2. I've just tried my first edit, unsuccessfully: I have tried to make instruments in Bane usable by all professions, like they are in CODS: only bards can start with music skill, so any character who wants to use an instrument must spend at least some time as a bard to get that skill started, but then characters of any class can successfully use the instrument and further develop their skill. Using the Forge's item editor, I edited each instrument to be useable by all classes, instead of just bards. After successfully saving and testing this mod, however, I continue to get the same error message whenever my fighter/former-bard attempts to use his lute: "X abuses lute." Obviously, something is still missing, but what? Any help would be appreciated.
