"When to move on?"
Okay, When do I want to move my party to Wizardry II. In the olden days I remember moving characters to Wizardry II to have them gain levels /become powerful enough and then move them back to Wizardry I to kill WERDNA (back when killing WERDNA actually meant something - lots of experience points). Since I can't move them back and forth anymore, I want to make sure I get everything I need out of Wizardry I before moving on.

I have a GOOD party that can easily destroy WERDNA without any damage to the party as long as they surprise the monters.

My main party is a Fighter L-17, Samurai L-14, Ninja L-15, Priest L-17, Bishop L-15 (knows all the spells), Mage L-18.

The Bishop, Samurai, and Fighter all have above 120 hit points.

The Priest has 92 and the Mage has 82 hit points.

The Ninja concerns me, he only as 71 pit points.

The only items I want that I do NOT have are:
Murasama Blade
Shuriken
Lords Garb
Ring of Healing
Ring of Pro Undead

1. "Move on -- move on!"
Your characters are plenty powerful enough -- in fact, I would say that they are powerful enough to basically make W2 a cakewalk. As for items, I'm pretty sure (though not 100%) that no items transfer to w2. If you spend too much time in the proving grounds, you will quickly dillute all fun out of the Knight of Diamonds... which is already by far the easiest game in the series. For any kind of challenge I usually transfer my characters at around level 12 or so.
