Pumped about Greater Demons (Guest) (1 posts) Jul-11-04, 06:03 AM (Pacific) "HBK21GOD" I am finishing Bane and walking through the Temple of Ramm to try and get some of the elite weapons and invokable items. I finally received the Estoc of Olivia. Wouldn't you know that I was given a 2nd Estoc also! I have also received the Zatoichi Bo and Diamond Eyes x3! I am now waiting patiently for the Exaliber to finish my list of desired weapons. I have almost all of the invokable items that I wanted except for the Tora Maedate. This is 1 tough item for me to get from those Elite Samurai Warriors. I just wanted to share my good fortune and also hear how others have fared in finding these "elite" weapons/items! Scary (286 posts) Jul-11-04, 10:58 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: HBK21GOD" Pretty impressive. I don't know that I would have the patience for this quest after the game is over and CODS awaits. I've never picked up any of these items (z-bo, estoc, diamond eyes or Excalibur), so one thing you might do is see whether any or all of them import to CODS. My experience was strange--I found multiple Excalibers, Avengers, etc. but my Monk never got his coveted Z-bo. I'm convinced that the speed of my PC did something odd to the random number generator such that it *always* skipped over it. And I fought untold numbers of Demons/Pit Fiends looking for the #$%#$^ thing. Anyway, if you are interested in importing this stuff to Wiz7, the above weapons will import at the rate of one per character. The Tora Maedate (along with Glass Slippers, Cape of Hi-Zen, and a few other rarities) doesn't exist at all in Wiz7, so unless you're hell-bent on importing a character with >18 vitality, don't worry too much about it.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

So that in it self has made this new quest quite rewarding. I never used the z-bo before because I always liked using the muramasa blade/wakizashi+1 with my Samurai, but now I like using the z-bo instead because of the additional effect possibilities and I can have him in the back row of the party.
