John Mc (2 posts) Sep-22-12, 06:50 AM (Pacific) "Recoering killed party" Is there a character editor or utility that will help me recover a party that was lost when it was killed outside the Monster Control Center on Level 4? I just started playing Wizardry I again after about 25 or 30 years, and forgot all about backing up my characters. I'm running Wizardry I on a Mac Plus emulation under Mini vMac. I know I could elvel up another party and try to bring these guys back, but my time for play is limited, and I'm hoping there is a quicker way. I know there was a utility to mess with character attributes for the Apple II version. Is there something similar for the Mac Plus version? (Or a sector editor, if there are good directions for editing W-I characters... it's been a LONG time since I messed with that sort of thing.) John Mc   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It has been so long since I worked on my editors, that I don't recall if/how the dead parties are saved. And mine were for Windows versions, though I had edited some MAC files in the past, that were emailed. Not sure how MAC emulation under mini vmac to windows would translate back and forth.
