opalescentnanomachines (3 posts) Jul-03-16, 02:39 PM (Pacific) "Help Food/Magic Food" Help Food definitely replenishes a little bit of Stamina, but does it also do a slight bit of HP? That's what it looks like from in-game testing using Bread Rolls, but I can't corroborate it anywhere, because I can't find any explanation of the effect on the internet. I also tested out the Golden Apples for the Magic Food effect, and noted that it actually dropped my character's AC by one point in addition to replenishing spell points (haven't checked yet how long this effect lasts). Is this a known effect of Magic Food, or is it unique to that item? (I swear this has been bugging me for years of playing this game off and on. I can find out basically everything else I want to know on the internet about this game, but the documented effects of Help Food and Magic Food continue to elude me, and it's egregiously frustrating.)   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Maybe you were just on the cusp of a weight limit, and dropping the extra pound of fruit gave you less encumberance, and the AC dropped from that?
