Chronos (12 posts) May-27-10, 08:56 PM (Pacific) "Personal Skills" Hey, I'm on a mission to give all of my characters in one game all possible skills. Getting all the ones for Weaponry, Physical, and Academia are simple enough, and I know how to get Firearms and Mind Control for all of my characters. The thing is, I don't know how to give all of my characters the other four personal skills. I know which items they are (I have all the flowers and holy water to make one Snakespeed, and I have the Gem of Power. I know where and how to get one Ring of Reflextion and how to get the one Helazoid Pennant). Recharging doesn't seem to affect either item I already have; the Snakespeed in particular confuses me, as it presents itself as potentially having multiples in a stack. Does anyone know how to get Power Strike, Snakespeed, Reflextion, and the sixth Personal skill on all six characters? Is it even possible?   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Personal Skills" I'm a good listener ... oh, not those kind of personal skills Short of editing, there is only one way to give all your entire team all the personal skills (since some are limited in how many are available) ... play with one character. Turns out the file format is the same, its just the editor doesn't work on a MAC. So, if you send me a file, I can edit it and send it back ... "RE: Personal Skills" Good Luck, as only Firearms and Mind Control in the Dane Tower (which is in the northwest, southwest of Nyctalinth (and please say Hi to the lady on the way) can be given to multiple characters. Firearms - Ukpyr, join the army, pay 8,250 GP (say no the first time to get a free sword), then head to the shooting range. you'll have to trade the musket 4 or 5 times for everyone. Mind Control - Dane Tower, keep meditating until all get it. Power Strike - Gem of Power in Orkogre Castle. only 1 of these total in game, and only 1 usage Snakespeed - just follow Xheng's instructions. the 'stackable' look alike is because you mixed Holy Water, which is stackable, with it. more like a small bug than anything. you can only get one, some have tried merging multiple holy waters, but, none have succeeded. on my Gold, the Snakespeed Potion gets put in to Inventory, and I hold the rest with the mouse pointer. Reflexion - I don't know how 'reflexTion' came to be, or why you would ask the rat about it in the first place. but, only 1 charge/usage. Eagle Eye - Helazoid Pendant, just be nice to the ladies, and you will be rewarded, almost like real life again, only 1 eagle eye charge for it. I've gotten all personal skills before, but sadly, firearms is only used for 5 weapons. 2 in Sky City, 2 in Ukpyr, and one strange one in Nyctalynth. I've used Mad God's Editor, to look at those items in the Item Editor, go to "Elaborate Item Usage", and you will see a ton of places you can get it at, as well as where it is used. I didn't know Iron keys were usable in New City, for Example, I always sold them and picked them. got Mad God to thank there   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I ended up splitting the personal skills that couldn't be shared by the group to four of my characters; one for each non-sharable personal skill. At this point, all my characters have all available skills ingame, they all have every spell ingame, and they've all been reclassed to an assortment of monks and ninjas. One of them also has the divine mail armor equipped, giving that one crazy AC. I last left them in the Hall of the Past, grinding levels at that one spot that always spawns monsters. Aside from changing a class of one of them and equipping the divine mail piece I found in the Isle of Crypts, they're as close to god characters as I can make. My final challenge with this game will be to make a faerie character solo the game, eventually becoming a faerie ninja.
