Hagaar (71 posts) Mar-22-02, 12:55 PM (Pacific) 3. "RE: Cape of Hi-Zen" Sorry about that )! That'll teach me to be awake next time!! You're correct in that the cape is for a monk. As for the other information, AC is armor class; which in this case is 3. The VIT+1 is (what the makers o' the game call)Special. Basically, what you are reading is this: The cape has an armorclass of 3. The Special effect that it has on the wearer is a +1 (point) to the wearer's VITALITY score. This only means that your monk has an extra point added to his/her vitality. FYI: go back over this board and look for a message from "Willow", he's got a nifty program that you can use to check out all the items within the game. It'll give you a good breakdown of all the stats for every item to be found within Bane. Sorry for the confusion. Hope this helps!! Hagaar. "from Willow himself" Almost everything said above is correct - Value: 40000 Resistances: 70 for Hypnosis, Psionic, Lifeforce, and Magic Only a Monk can use it AC: 3 Regen: +1 Charges: 1 Special: -1 to AGE with a Minimum of 18, +1 to VIT with a Maximum of 18. as Haagar described, i have done some research and written two programs to deal with Bane. http://members.cts.com/tundra/j/jwhite/BaneEdit.exe - character editor http://members.cts.com/tundra/j/jwhite/BaneItem.exe - item editor.
