TrialFire (1 posts) Apr-24-09, 06:07 PM (Pacific) "WizGold Error" Hello everyone. This is my first time posting although I have persused the forums quite a bit. I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I am having. I have installed Wizgold onto my system without a problem. However I have reached a point in the game where I can go no further. In the Rattkin Ruins I meet Blienmeis and the encounter scenario starts, but as soon as he finishes talking the wiz.exe encounters a problem and shuts down the game. I do have the cd in the drive and am unsure of the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark. PS. I have windows vista.   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It will tell me to constantly put the cd in during the narration, but once that is done I can continue without a problem.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

XenXheng (1 posts) Apr-26-09, 01:13 AM (Pacific) 3. "RE: WizGold Error" I had a similar problem, and I fixed it by doing this: 1. Copy the CD's files to a new directory, like C:\WIZCD or something 2. Open the INI file in the root directory that gets copied along with installing the game (WIZGOLD.INI or something similar), and change the CD directory in it to C:\WIZCD   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
