"Saved games"
Gidday, have just got Wiz 7 going in XP without using dosbox (i think I used a pentium DS.exe I downloaded ages ago). It runs fine, although no sound and fights/encounters/going thru doors/opening menus etc is very slow - but moving around is fast. Any suggestions for the slowness?

Any I was also wondering where I could get a few saved games to load up and see some of the different areas.

cheers
Nutman

The slowness probably has something to do with the lack of sound, as your slowdowns seem to occur when sound should be playing.

I thought someone had posted some various saved games at one time ...

There are a couple here: http://www.tk421.net/wizardry/files.shtml
