committed88 (8 posts) Jun-29-08, 11:56 PM (Pacific) "A few questions oh great ones" Ok, so I have been playing CoDS since 94, with breaks on and off. And no matter what I do I have NEVER been able to use a Map Kit. I have mapping skilled up to 43 on my ranger. I have it in his personal inventory and not his grab bag. Everytime I go to read it, it just stops for a second, and then does nothing. Is there something I'm missing? Also to the owner of this forum and it's corresponding editor. committed88 (8 posts) Jul-02-08, 08:39 AM (Pacific) 2. "RE: A few questions oh great ones" FINALLY! I can use the map kit! Thanks! I don't know why I never tried that. I mean I read the manual as a kid several times and I don't remember ever reading where it says how to use the map. Anyway probably overlooked it, as I was more interested in other things. I just won a auction on ebay for the whole game. Comes with the original box, manual, quick start, 2 3 1/4 disks, map, registration, and advertizing. I'm really pumped to have the book again. I know it contains a lot of hints and stuff on playing the game. I figure since I'm older i should be able to complete the game this time. I don't see how you've played the game for 14 years without using the map kit 0.o Kinda like the first few times I played through diablo I got mad because I kept getting lost, not knowing I could just hit tab to get a map of the dungeon. =D   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: A few questions oh great ones" well as a kid i just tried to remember everything i did. i can still pretty much remember every turn in new city. i spent half of a year going through that place. (dying and trying again from a save) i haven't been playing the game for 14 years straight though. it was mainly as a kid and thrn off and on in the last few years.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
