sphynx (14 posts) Feb-19-08, 04:56 AM (Pacific) "Spirits of Ghosts and Wraiths" I hate fighting Ghosts and Wraiths at beginning levels. I only beat them about half the time due to their blinking out in time for spells, and their spells causing terror and damage. What technique do you find best for dealing with Ghosts and Wraiths at lower levels (like entering Old City before ever leaving New City)?   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Spirits of Ghosts and Wraiths" Personally I try a combination of Dispell Undead and all my other characters trying to attack the ghost/wraith and inflict as much damage as possible. Usually, as you said, the ghost blinks out in time not to be affected by the spell, but it cannot avoid being hit by my valkyrie/ninja/samurai gang. Sometimes I have had to reload, brute force, in my experience, seems to be my only way of dealing with non-corporeal beings - at low or high levels.
