Mahler1911 (4 posts) May-16-07, 05:33 PM (Pacific) "Editor" Hello, all! I've been playing wizardry in one form or another since I was about 9, and watched my brother play it on Apple IIc before that. I've been playing CoDS on and off for about 15 years now, adn never got even close to beating it til now(finally found a good walkthrough for City of Sky). Anywho, I'm pretty close to beating it and just got the editor. I'd really like to beat the game first without any help, but I also want to start messing around with the editor. So here are my questions: a.) if I edit something, does it take effect in all savegames? b.) once I've changed a weapon(giving a spear 2000+ damage) is there a way to reset it to the original level? mad god (4 posts) May-16-07, 10:58 PM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Editor" a. It depends on what you will edit. Some things will take effect only when you start a new game. Some things will take effect only when you load your saved game and perform certain actions. But mostly the answer is Yes. b. Yes. 1. Edit the spear again and set its damage to original value (not that in general you will be required to drop the item and than to pick it up in order for the changes to take full effect.) 2. Copy game data files from your game CD or floppy disks into the game directory - this will erase all the changes made by the Editor.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
