"a way to play..."
DOn't know if anyone else is aware of this, but you can play Wizardry 7 and back on your Pocket PC. You have to be running windows mobile 2002 or 2003 (newer is also ok). It works through a program called PocketDos (there are several similar programs, but that one is the most refined). It emulates an x86 on your PDA and allows you to run a native dos on it. You can even run microsoft dos 6.22 (that is the latest.. 7.0 doesn't work)

If anyone trys this and can't get it to run please let me know, and i give tell you how. It take a bit of Dos tweaking to get it to work.

Other than that, i think it is great that this board exsist. This game should never die, it is one of the best RPGs of all time.

Very nice, I wouldn't suspect that. Tho, with DOSbox, every classic is re-playable in virtually every PC, I think I was not the only one who didn't knew that.

Darn, I even ensnared a 486 DX2 66MHz here some time ago, just to play Wiz7

And yes, Wizardry is one of the best RPGs ever created, and should never die, indeed.

Now, a cross-over between Ultima and Wizardry would be interesting

If only Lord British wasn't working on Tabula Rasa... who knows?

I was excited about tabula rasa at first, but now i think it is just going to be another action mmorpg, and not have much detail. There had to be more to a game than repelling monsters.

At any rate, yeah being able to play wiz 5-7 on the pocket pc is amazing.

It has glitches every once in a while, but that is just becuase of the latency from running it off a sd card.

At any rate, I wish there was another wizardry in the work, with todays advances in graphics and capability, it would be amazing to see what DW Bradley could think up now.
