BM (Guest) (7 posts) Jun-20-05, 11:34 PM (Pacific) "Where is the automap? " Ok, I just got Wizardry 7 Gold and according to the manual I can turn on automap feature by pressing F5. sphynx (14 posts) Jun-21-05, 00:28 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Where is the automap? " You first have to find the Map in-game. It's located in a chest in the newbie outside area south and east of New City. If you started the game fresh (Ie: not characters brought over from Bane), after the newbie dungeon, come out and head east through the woods. I just got into the dungeon in the forest (is that the newbie dungeon?) and stoped because I didn't want to miss anything without an automap. Once you complete that dungeon, if you can get past some aliphoots (kinda tough at starting levels), everything else is easy to the chest. But I can't find the automap anywhere, and the New City is driving me crazy (I just keep getting lost). rbrown (2 posts) Jun-22-05, 11:38 AM (Pacific) 6. "RE: REadjust Your Compass" West and south of the starter dungeon. Find the place where you first arrived on Guardia, then head south from there. Follow the road away from New City, and turn around where you get the first Orchids text. Southwest of you now is the off-road section leading to the chest. There are maps as GIFs available on the home page here, as the last "desserts" item. The map you want is "orchid". Orient yourself by the ends of the roads.
