The level of detail you have on EVERY aspect of the game scares the creeps out of me. But, I will take advantage of this and ask a few questions:
First is: 99,9% of the Wizardry players use the change profession feat in a regular basis, in search for a party that could literally beat the crap out of God.
I have never finished Wiz7 because I was too young when I played it, and most of the game did not make any sense to me. My first RPGs were Ultima 7 and 8, and the style of play is slightly different, but I learned to love Wiz7 anyway. I remember having a good party, but I NEVER did any profession changing. So I ask: to what extent is preferable to have a "pure" party, or a "mixed" one?
After all, I finished Wiz8 without using this feat...

My second question:
I have a party now that consists of the following:
Dracon Samurai (M)
Rawulf Lord (M)
Hobbit Bard (M)
Felpurr Monk (M)
Gnome Priest (F)
Faerie Mage (F)
All of them are level 10.
It's not my dream party (except for the Lord. That dog rules the world!), but it is going very well so far. I use the Faerie in the very back. There are some combats where I don't expect to cast lots of spells, so I equipped her with a short bow and quarrels (the short bow is acceptable by a Faerie Mage), but when comes to the time to give her orders on combat, she has no "FIGHT" button. 
Is this a bug, or something like that?
