If you have one savegame that has it, you could find it in that savegame and put it into the other. When I first started this whole bit, I asked Rick for some help with some stuff since he had done wiz7 editor. He informed me the names are listed in the scenario.dbs file in 7, and it was the same with 6. Anyhow, if you didn't already know, if you change the item "name" part of the byte in wiz7, regardless of the rest of the bytes, dropping and picking it back up will correct the item, and fill in the correct bytes. Dropping things in Bane makes them cease to exist, so you have to actually figure out it all (at least my attempts at just changing the name haven't worked). Anyhow, my basic problem has been, well, say a shuriken would be: 2F 00 05 00 02 15 0F 04 the first two bytes are the name bytes 5 & 6 denote the picture byte 7 is the charges byte 8 is the equipped status (i.e.-cursed/unequipped etc.) it's just bytes 3 and 4 that have me baffled, perhaps I'm just missing something really obvious here.....   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"They should be about the same configuration as Wiz 7" In Wiz 7, in the saved game file, for each item: first 2 bytes are the ascii code of the item next 2 are the weight next 1 is the Item Group next 1 is the Item Picture next 1 is Quantity next 1 is identified next 4 are ?? AC Modifiers ?? I'm not sure I ever really figured out the last 4. I think it is the AC modifer and the location it modifies (i.e. Head, Torso, Feet).
