"Login Losses?"

I use Internet Explorer on one of my computers, and even though I check the box to remain logged on when I return, it never works. On my computer that has Netscape Navigator it works just fine though. Professor, is this a known problem? Or maybe something keeps eating my cookies.

There was a bug in the board software, in that it set the cookie to expire 1/1/2003. It has been changed to 1/1/2010, so it should be working (regardless of browser flavor) unless:

- you have cookies turned off
- your PC date is set past 1/1/2010

which version of IE? 6.0 has a Privacy tab in Internet Options, where you click the "Edit" button, type or copy softwarespecialties.com into it, click "Allow"
don't think it's needed, but if that doesn't help, try adding www. infront.

Just take out the "http" portion, so it starts with "www" ... the board software plugs in the "http" part for you ...
