All you have to do is go outside any one of the gates and just wait out the night. It will take some time...but if you don't want to get hurt...that is exactly what you do. Ocassionally, some monsters will come right to the gate, but they are easy to kill. You can wait in the cemetary too...until daylight somes again.

Waiting, instead of fighting takes you longer to level up...but I can understand your reluctantce to going out and looking for trouble.

Thank you very much, now I can at least protect myself from those monsters.

I see what you mean - I have finished in the Serpent Temple, and now I'm exploring the western part of Ishad N'Ha, but I still hate walking in the forests in the night. Amazoni Mantraps in the night... I once met one, and it's really painful.

I'm not sure if it always works but once I switched the pause on in the night and after about half an hour the night passed!!!

So try this - switch on pause, and go to watch TV.

Stay near the gate. If attacked, fire your spells and enter the city. Leave again and your spellpoints will be full again. If wounded, heal at temple (cheap). This should help to survive the night.
