"Finally Completed it (1st time)"

Posted by Lady_Adrexia on Apr-13-01 at 05:51 PM
I finished the game last night. Although I had to kill Cet 7 times to finally get Kerah and Anephas to talk to me and teleport me outta there. He was a hard bugger to kill...as he kept doing Firestorm. I had to keep bringing the Rogue and one of my Warriors back to life.

This morning...I made sure that everyone was level 21 before "restarting adventures". The warrior that held the Mavin sword, is now a Valkrie. Although, I didn't know which Guild would be responsible for that. I let her keep Kerah's sword and the game lets you keep alot of stuff too, except for the "special" stuff.

So now, most of us have changed jobs. They are as follows:

Warrior--->Valkrie
Warrior--->Barbarian (female)then to Samurai
Warrior--->Barbarian (male)then to Paladin
Rogue--->Ninja (female) (at Ishad Nha)then Assassin
Priest (female) cannot decide what to make her...sill needs her spell books completed.
Mage--->Warlock (male) (at Ishad Nha)

So far everything is pretty easy...because I spent the gold to make them have talents in everything. I wish that I had saved my "savegame" from last night, so that I could have made the Priest a ZenMaster. Oh well, leave that for my next time through.

"Congrats, Where did you find key for Anephas' Tomb"

Good going, I guess that I have spent too much time boosting Character stats and roles. 5 of 6 Characters have at least 3 spellbooks to seventh level.

Where did you find the key to the buried tomb? and where did you find the other 2 books.

"There's a Key??"

That figures. I was able to wiggle my way up the narrow passage way but I could not get back out. I dont remember needing a key for it though. Had to revert to an older save game.

The Staff of Doom is the key sweetie!!!

Here is my update...I finished the Crypt and am on my way to the Toad Village and to see Herespia...again. Then we shall be at Ishad'Nha, where I can make the Mage a Warlock and the Rogue and Ninja and the Warriors and Samurai and Paladin respectively.

The game is pretty simple, even though I have the setting turned on hard this time. I don't mind, because by the time we get to Brimloch, it will be a challenge again.

...we were talking about the actual room where Lord Anephas (sp) is resting. He's just "laying" there floating above the floor dead as can be.

My mistake.

"Bringing Lord Anephas to life *Spoiler*"

Oh that one...

You have to go to Kerah's underwater Shrine and get the Obliesk from her. Then take it back to the room with the crack in the ceiling/wall and place it there. It shines a beam of light.

Now you have to gather all those gold pillers and place them on the brown boxes on the floor leading back to the Altar room. The beam should refract all the way back to where Anephas lays dead.

His ashes are across a pit off to the left of him. You have to place the Baboon figure on the shelf and that locks the stairs up. Then take a running jump across the pit. Don't fall in or you won't be able to get out. Anephas' ashes are in one of the chests. Take the ashes back across the pit and place them in the beam of light that shines across the slab. That brings him back to life and he tells you what to do next.

By the way, there is a great set of walkthrus at Ironworks or at this guys page, since I cannot get Ironsworks page to open.

I use his hints to help me find things that I need for that particular area.

The key is the "Staff of Death" that you get from the Lich, before Cet comes and carries him back to his temple. You have to *USE* it on the seal of Anephas'. I put the staff on my Mage until I got to Cet's Shrine, and then I gave it to one of my warriors.

One of the books is found in the Collesium...that would be the Book of Water. The last book is found at Cet's Temple...the Book of Fire (I think).

The first city went by faster this time, and now I can change two more characters here at Ishad'Nha...four if I am in the mood to make the Barbarians into something else.

"Visiting De Soto"

The Serpent Temple went by pretty smoothly...was able to make my Mage into a Warlock. Now it is off to fight the ManTraps and go through Shurigen Castle. I have to make my Rogue into a Ninja now. I cannot wait to claim all the book and make my Priest into a Zen Master.

I am having a blast this time, I just wish that it was harder. Mayhap I should adjust the monster level...but I think that I will wait until after I kill the ManTraps.

Wizards and WArriors defintely needs at least one more patch to upgrade the difficutly... I wish Heuristic supported WW a little more... there really is a great game in it (WW was my fave rpg in 2000, despite some bugs).
