I just saw this on the list of stuff avaialble (for pre-order) from Chips & Bits:

Wizardry PSX 2 RPG 05/01 $49.95

I wonder what the relation to the series is (and if it is related, which Wizardry .. most likely 7 ?)

Beats me as to the relation, but what I do know is that they also list:

Wizardry 8 Windows 95 IBM CD ROM Role-Playing 05/01 $44.95

So the PS2 listing is proly just another Wiz8 gaffe.

Ya, they list Wiz 8 for the PC, but they have been listing that for years now. The PSX2 thing is something (fairly) new.

Chips & bits is always listing game in progress and game that they think will be "eventually" be published.
For example, Jagged alliance 3 was first listed there in september...

It is completely unrelated to the Wizardry series.

Hi, I've been looking around the internet to find out what this was and I've found several japanese wizardry games which seem to be related to the wizardry series.
0ne of them seems to be a compilation of wiz 4 and 5
find the link on this page to see the covers

http://www.coversite.net/html/psx/indexw.php

there also seems to be another one which I don't know what it is but is definitely a real wizardry game since it has the same logo and on this picture of the back cover it says copyright 1998-2000 1259190 Ontario Inc which is Sir-Tech
see picture at

There may be others and possibly this one you were refering to is neither of these two games, but seeing these games makes me realize that sir-tech is making at least some money of these games in Japan.

Anyways this just seemed like something interesting to me so I thought I would share it.
