"Folder icon"

On the main conference page, the W8 folder is yellow showing a new message when there isn't anything new. I made sure I was logged in and refreshed the page a couple of times. Same thing. Saw this the other days as well.

have you tried logging out, closing the browser window, and then deleting the Software Specialties cookies?
if that does nothing, clear the temporary internet files or cache
IE - click tools -> Internet Options -> Click Clear Temporary Internet Files button and Clear History
Netscape - Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> cache -> Clear Disk Cache. close and reopen

i got similar problem yesterday - i saw wiz8 folder in yellow with last post time something like 7:55 AM, although last post was from me like 1:50AM.
i could mark the folder as read, but the strange last post time remained.

There was a deragotory post, so I deleted it (something I rarely do, though I find I am doing it a bit more often these days ...).

When posts are deleted, things like the folder icon, the subscriptions, .... are not updated, so the "footprint" is still there.

thx for explanation, i just don't understand your subject? you mean it like this thread is unimportant or that you wish we had more important things to talk about than strange times?

...just wanted to know what did u mean by it

That if we had better things to do, like Play Wiz 8, we would not worry about these minor strange occorunces.

Well, you're right as usually.
